Long, Relay Half & Aqua Bike Half - 56 Miles
Starting from Zephyr Cove at over 6000 ft in elevation, cyclists will head north on Highway 50. After a screaming 1400 ft drop
from Spooner Summit, you enter Carson City. The course takes riders past the State's
Legislature, Supreme Court & Capitol Buildings of Nevada. Passing the V&T Railroad,
the course the hits Combs Canyon which will challenge riders as they climb up and into
Washoe Valley. A majority of the race will tour riders in and around the peaceful valley
passing Bowers Mansion and fields of livestock. Ultra racers will make a U-Turn on Eastlake Blvd while the Long course racers will continues on to 395 North. The last leg will head riders through the southeast portion of Reno ending at The Legends at Sparks Marina.
** Riders may be ask to stop momentarily at the bottom of Highway 50 to cross over to the other side. There will be traffic merging into one lane with flaggers directing drivers coming down and going up to Lake Tahoe. Be extreme cautious is this area!
